Als onderdeel van haar Europese strategie heeft ART+ Shanghai een langetermijn strategisch partnerschap opgezet met Klei & Vuur VZW, een in België gevestigde non-profitorganisatie gespecialiseerd in Chinees–Europese artistieke bemiddeling.

Deze samenwerking functioneert binnen een gestructureerd governancekader, inclusief een Joint Working Group, om transparantie, rolafbakening en naleving van non-profitprincipes binnen alle gezamenlijke initiatieven te waarborgen.

Het partnerschap omvat curatoriële coördinatie voor geselecteerde tentoonstellingsprogramma’s, academische en markt-ecologische fora die gericht zijn op dialoog in plaats van transacties, en zorgvuldig bemiddelde culturele uitwisselingsbezoeken voor institutionele partners en verzamelaars.

Door curatoriële, academische en marktgerichte functies van elkaar te scheiden, beoogt de alliantie een duurzaam Chinees–Europees kunstecosysteem op te bouwen, gestoeld op wederzijds begrip, professionele ethiek en langetermijn culturele waarde.
